The choice to consciously move to facilitate healing is a very powerful tool for self-care - and somatic yoga is the modality. The body holds on to stress, trauma, memory & anxiety - and we live our lives holding on to it because we have convinced ourselves that it is necessary. Gently guided somatic yoga will help you tune in deeply to your body, teach you how to observe the internal experience of the practice as well as help you release built up emotional blockages and promote overall well-being. This workshop is specifically designed to address the emotional body. You will be guided on an introspective journey of self-awareness in a safe space. We will introduce the power of slow, mindful, somatic movements to release emotional blockages, muscular tension, regulate the nervous system and amplify your well-being.
